January 2007 was a well attended meeting hosted by Sandy Shepard. Everyone participated in the discussion - it was a very good time. Newcomers were Teri Smith, Joanie Moses, and Kathleen Marsden.
This was the first attempt at using the Orem Library Book Club program - they provided us with a dozen books - which was great, and seemed to encourage better participation than in the past. We turned in Peace Like a River and Pam had copies of the next book ready for us.
Thanks for each person's insights - they really enhanced the book for all of us. We wanted to know more about the author and what he had to say about this book. No one had any information, but afterward Judy Jepson found this interview with the author.

December 2006 -
Lead by Janet Wolsey. Everyone brought their favorite Christmas books. In attendance were Janet, Debbi Hamilton, Sandy Shepherd, Jolene Cooley, Wendy Granata, Nicole Menssen, Rhonda Wilkinson.
Scout Mitton made a presentation about a book drive he is doing for his Eagle Scout Project for the new Harvest Hills Elementary School. They are looking for books for ages K-9.
We looked over the book list from the Orem Library and picked out about 10 books we were interested in reading this year.
Several of those books have been scheduled for the next five months. Coordinating our schedule with availability from the library is a challenge! Thanks to Pam, we are lined up through June!
